Prisoe - a word that describes a dry, open, sunny, warm place.

What makes Prisoe winery special?

A family tradition

Our wines are made by the same hands that care for the vines, ensuring every bottle reflects our passion.

Unique terroir

Grown near the Stone Forest, our grapes thrive on quartz sand and limestone for a one-of-a-kind flavor.

Sustainable practices

While not certified organic, we minimize chemical use and focus on sustainable vineyard care.

Limited editions

With only 1,300–1,400 bottles per type, each wine is truly special.

Handcrafted excellence

From hand-picking grapes to aging in Bulgarian oak barrels, every step is done with care.

From Our Family to Yours

“At Prisoe Winery, every bottle has a story. It’s the story of my parents, who started this dream, and of my journey to preserve their legacy. It’s the story of our land, shaped by the sea and time itself. And it’s the story of you—our customers—who make all of this possible. Cheers to shared moments and timeless traditions!”

— Stefan Baltadjiev, Winemaker

The Land, The Wine, The Legacy

Nestled 20 km west of Varna, Prisoe Winery is surrounded by breathtaking views and the natural wonder of Pobiti Kamani. Our unique location combines quartz sand, limestone, and the cooling Black Sea breeze to create the perfect conditions for exceptional wines.

The Vineyards

Spanning 4.7 hectares, our Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vrachanski Misket vines are tended with care. Each vine is nurtured by hand, ensuring exceptional grape quality. Our double cordon formation enhances the flavors and reflects our commitment to craftsmanship. Every harvest celebrates the unique terroir that makes Prisoe wines one of a kind.

The Winery

Built in 2006, our cellar seamlessly integrates the vineyards and winemaking process. Nestled among the vines, it ensures every grape is handled with care from harvest to bottle. Combining age-old techniques with modern craftsmanship, we preserve the essence of our land in every bottle through oak barrel aging.
