Our Story
The dream of Prisoe Winery began in 1993 with Rumen and Gichka Baltadjievi’s passion for crafting exceptional wines. What started as small experiments grew into a legacy, with the family securing their dream land in 2002. Nestled near the stunning Stone Forest, 20 km west of Varna, our winery sits on land once covered by the ocean, providing the perfect terroir for winemaking.
In 2006, our cellar was built, and the first vines were planted shortly after. Today, the winery is proudly carried forward by Stefan Baltadjiev, who continues the family tradition of blending craftsmanship, care, and respect for nature into every bottle.

Our Philosophy
At Prisoe, winemaking is more than a craft—it’s a way of life. Every grape is nurtured by hand, every barrel chosen with care, and every bottle a reflection of our dedication to preserving traditional techniques. From the vineyard to the cellar, we believe in creating wines that tell the story of our land, our family, and our passion.
Unique terroir
Located near the Black Sea, our land blends quartz sand, limestone, and rich soil, creating perfect conditions for vine growth and producing wines with distinct mineral and salty notes.
The Vineyards
Our 4.7-hectare vineyards feature Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vrachanski Misket, carefully cultivated with sustainable practices to ensure quality.
The Winemaking
We use traditional methods, including spontaneous fermentation with our own yeast, aging white and rosé wines in Bulgarian oak, and red wines in open-top casks for a true expression of our land.
